Percy Jackson The Battle Of The Labyrinth
by Rick Riordan

The travel in this book is by far the best. The way Riordan describes the tunnels and the different materials that each are made out of makes the novel come to life in front of your eyes. The addition of Rachel Elizabeth Dare is also a great comic relief point and the final battle/conflict sequence is so well done that it makes up for any heartbreak that occurs over the time in the novel. It leaves the reader with a bit of closure while also preparing everyone for the final installment of the series, which promises to be nothing more than wonderful.
